CLINICAL CANINE MASSAGE THERAPY (COMING SOON)

A pet groomer that provides more than just a grooming service

FREE CLINICAL CANINE MASSAGE THERAPY SESSIONS COMMENCING AUGUST 2023-FEBRUARY 2024

I am currently a Student Clinical Canine Massage Therapist. I help to rehabilitate soft tissue injuries in dogs which can often be seen as lameness, limping or slowing down.

I also help with chronic pain management for orthopaedic conditions such as arthritis, hip/elbow dysplasia but there are many more conditions.

Massage can help to address 5 Principles of Pain:

Gait – Stiff when Moving, Limping, Carrying a Leg/Paw, Hopping/Skipping.
Posture – Coat Changes, Uneven Nails, Twitching or Shivery Skin.
Activities of Daily Living (ADL’s) – No longer able to go up and down stairs or jump on and off furniture, slipping on flooring, struggling/slowing down on walks, not settling, pacing at night.
Behaviour – reluctance to be petted, groomed or examined, no longer keen to go for a walk or no longer wanted to be petted, lick granuloma i.e. excessive licking of wrist.
Performance – Agility, pole knocking, weave or contact issues, any deviation from natural performance across any activities or sports.
And it achieves results in 1-3 sessions.
4 disciplines of massage; Myofascial Release, Sports, Swedish, Deep Tissue and the Lenton Method (Clinically Trialled at St Winchester University) a set of Direct Myofascial Releaseses.

Results you can see and your dog feels.
